The Rotary Note Counter

(RNC) is a heavy duty paper counter for loose banknotes, developed specifically for Security Printers, Central Banks and commercial banknote processing operations where accurate counting is required.  The Rotary Note Counter (RNC) is capable of counting and batching 75,000 notes per hour.

ROTARY NOTE COUNTER (RNC)

The high volume, powered hopper can accept around 3,500 notes at a time and can be topped up ‚on-the-run‘ to maximise productivity levels. The ‚low-impact‘ path of travel handles the notes without marking. Throughput speed can be adjusted to suit the note type and quality. Batch quantities are adjustable between 50 and 1,000 notes.

Typical applications for the RNC within Security Print operations will be the counting and banding sections of manual note finishing lines, and reject note sections where sheets and notes are counted prior to their destruction. Central or Regional Banks may install RNC units for use in their processing centres, where notes are sorted for fitness, counted and returned to general circulation.
