Tornado Cutpak

Vacuumatic’s Tornado series of machines are high-speed counting units for new, finished banknotes. They are in use at currency printers and central banks worldwide. The Cutpak version is designed to be integrated within an automatic banknote finishing line and is supplied to meet the specific needs of each system, after consultation with the client.

The Tornado is simple to operate with pre-set security switching and microprocessor count controller. Using disc counting technology, the Tornado can count bundles of up to 152mm stack height (typically 1000 notes), either loose, single banded or bundled at a speed of up to 10,000 banknotes per minute and with 100% accuracy (subject to paper quality). Count information can be downloaded via serial port to a PC.
