Reel Tab Inserter System (RTIS)

Vacuumatic’s Reel Tab Inserter System is a unique product offering for users of reel-to-reel printing presses and converting equipment. The RTIS is the only web marking product available on the market that fires adhesive tabs onto the web, without physical contact with the material. This minimizes the possibility of web damage as the tab is applied.

The RTIS enables operators to accurately isolate splices, mill joins and areas of spoil from good copy or product. This makes it easier to remove such sections during rewind or subsequent finishing processes, minimising the potential for unnecessary waste and increasing levels of productivity. The unit can be fitted to almost all types of press or converting machinery and can be operated either manually or via a trigger signal from an automated web inspection system.
